Unfortunately this is not the official release for Jay-Z’s newest music video. This is a reedit created by Razors videographer Brazillionaire. The reedit consists of inserts featuring Billy O’Neill, Mike Johnson, Julian Bah, Dre Powell, Stefan Horn, Don Bambrick and other Razors team member. The skating footage is such a great addition to the song and video so I wanted to post it up for all to see…besides it features Fish skating in NYC so I have an excuse!
The second installment in The Truth series by The Kelso Brothers & Austin Paz. Starring: Sean Kelso, Colin Kelso, Austin Paz, Franco Cammayo, Billy O’Neill, John Bolino, Montre Livingston, and Mike Johnson. Does anyone realize that the description says The Truth series? Does this mean we should expect to see more from Austin and the Kelsos? In Stores December 2009.

Roll Toronto created a series titled, Blading Wellness that covers the issues of skaters getting older and still maintaining the physical ability to continue skating. The issue is a great topic to cover and the first interviewee is Bronx, NY native Mike “Murda” Johnson. The interview took place after the MTL classic where they caught up with Mike and discussed his transition through his age and skating experiences. “This Blading Wellness series is dedicated to bringing awareness to taking care of your body. We were lucky enough to have Corey Grantham take the initiative, and seek out some pro’s at the Montreal Classic this year. First up is Mike ‘Murda’ Johnson and his take on blading wellness. Corey and I got to sit down and have a chat with him, and see what an experienced pro has to say. Watch the video, and form your own conclusions. This will be a 5 part series; we also have perspectives from Rob G, Brandon Smith, Erik Bailey, and Jon Julio. Be sure to check back for more interviews” – Roll Toronto. The audio is a bit low so make sure to turn up your volume.

Today a lot of sick tricks, pro skaters, and new products were revealed at today’s Summer Heat competition in Allerton skatepark in the Bronx, NY. Dre Powell, Mike Johnson, Rachard Johnson along with all the NYC pros came to the Bronx to support Flatline’s efforts. Evan Grimball also premiered his own line of shirts, also seen above. Angelo Ferrer and his wife Layla handed out copies of the Art of Rolling issues 1-4 on CD and on paper as well as taking portraits of almost everyone with skates on their feet. As for I Roll NY we personally handed out stickers to all the attendees and had the new design on an american apparel v-neck shirt. They’ll be available soon. As for the competition Jose Henriques took first place in the Advanced division. A big congratulations to Jose along with PJ who took second place as well as Evan Grimball who took third. Alex Nunez took best trick with a negative acid down the Skeptic Media box. More coverage of the event will be coming soon. If you have any pictures or any edits from today check out our Submit your New page to get yourself featured!
Thanks to Malik.
So the rumors of the release date of Austin Paz’s follow up, Truth 2, have been put to an end. A lot of people were expecting a back to school release date but it looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer than expected and get the Truth 2 as a Christmas gift. Based on the trailer, I’d have to say that it’ll be worth the wait. Speculations of the video being in full High Definition may be the reason why the date was pushed back as well as talks about filming full sections for each skater in the video may be a reason too. The skaters featured in Austin’s video are, Sean Kelso, Colin Kelso, Franco Cammayo, Mike Johnson, Austin Paz, Chris Cheshire, Jon Jon Bolino, Montre Livingston, Jeff Dalnas, and more.
