Here’s a post that I’m sure some might find controversial but try to keep an open mind. Revoked is a track bike video featuring a section in New York showcasing skating from Jeph Howard, Michael Garlinghouse, Billy O’Neill, Chris Farmer and Franco Cammayo while the Too Much Love crew was here on tour. As well as Revoked featuring some well known bladers, Two (or more) of the bikers in here, also rollerblade. Hope you can enjoy a different sport showing some love to ours. Blading starts around the ten minute mark. “We went to New York for 2 weeks during the 2010 Bicycle Film Festival. Fonseca was filming for Revoked 2 but more partying went on then riding, so he decided to use the footage for and online edit” – Chris Fonseca.

On June 18th, 2010 the Too Much Love crew came to New York City to session with the local skaters at the Pier 62 skatepark in Manhattan, NY. This edit features some of the big tricks that went down. Featuring skating from (in order of appearance) Dave Lang, Billy O’Neill, and Michael Garlinghouse. The edit also features two very special late arrivals to the session who happen to be New York City rollerblading legends and pioneers. Watch the edit in it’s entirety to see the NYC legends back on their skates.

The Too Much Love crew spent some time in our city in September filming for the second installment now titled “The Breakdown.” Though only one NYC clip is shown in the trailer, Bolino’s switch 360 to 360 at the Manhattan court house, it looks as if TML2 will be the big video to look out for this year. I think it’s safe to say that Farmer can do anything imaginable on skates and the rest of the crew provide stylish and technical tricks along with Jeph Howard’s hammers. “The official trailer for the upcoming DVD release starring John Bolino, Brett Dasovic, Jeph Howard, Michael Garlinghouse and Chris Farmer. A full season of skating throughout the state of Minnesota as well as a tour of both the midwest AND east coast. Combining both trick selection and a desire to skate and create new spots TML2 shows what skaters are capable of when they combine an eye for good terrain with above par skating” – Brett Dasovic

John Bolino – Switch 360
The Way Too Much Love East Coast Tour is continuing in our city and everyone is scrambling around to meet up with the visiting skaters and catch a glimpse of how they approach our everyday skate spots. Luckily, Be-Mag and Michael Garlinghouse have been documentating the tour’s stay in New York City giving us daily updates. “After getting our gear together at Fish and Jero’s we cruised to the subway to get our shred on. We met up with Tien at the Manhatten Bridge skatepark and then took care of some unfinished business at the Courthouse and plaza across the street. After grabbin’ our deals we hit an Asian food street vender spot and got $1.25 huge servings of fried noodles and $1 fried tofu pieces. I snagged a piece on the way to Brooklyn Banks where we finished our shred day. I cruised fakie into a mountain biker kid got a little thrashed, not dope. As it got dark we cruised back to Fish and Jero’s for the night” – Michael Garlinghouse. View all the pictures and get all the info at Be-Mag’s Be-Log.

Chris Farmer – 180 over the rail
Chris Farmer, Michael Garlinghouse, Tien Nguyen, John Bolino and others are visiting our city this week filming for the Way Too Much Love tour. Our newest resident, Jero, met up with the crew and has updated the Be-Mag log with photos from the session. Check out all the photos at the Be-Mag website. “So we drove to New York this morning, met up with Jero and Fish at their pad. We took the subway and shredded 4 sweet spots on about 2 blocks and had a blast. Franco, Tien, and a bunch of locals met up and hung out with us. Including a little super shredder. We got some real nice footage and had a blast. We ended the day with $1 pizza and $1 falafel. NYC is dope and the next few days are going to be sweet! stay tuned…” – WTML.
