Art of Rolling Issue 4

July 8, 2009

Click to download

Angelo Ferrer releases his latest issue of Art of Rolling Issue 4 which features almost everyone in our New York City area. Taking on contributing writers, advertisers, photographers, designers and featuring articles on names such as Alex Nunez, The Cortez brothers, and Ramelle Knight, with spot checks on almost every well known skatepark in NYC Art of Rolling is jam packed with everything you could ever ask out of a magazine. This issue is a high quality download so the size is a bit bigger than usual but it’s well worth the wait of downloading. The content and pictures in issue 4 is definitly something that you will want to read and peek at more than once. I personally plan on printing out my own version because issue 4 is truly amazing. Congrats to Angelo and Layla, along with the contributing writers, designers and photographers, on all their hard work. As well, I Roll NY has two advertisements in this issue giving a closer look into the new shirts which will be released. Download Art of Rolling issue 4 here or click the cover pic above.

Skeptic Media Trip To Poughkeepsie

July 2, 2009

This edit is definitely one of the best online edits I’ve seen to date and not only does it come from Bronx, NY’s Skeptic Media but it also features a place that I personally think is slept on media wise, Poughkeepsie, NY. This edit documents the day to day activities during Skeptic Media’s stay in Poughkeepsie and gives off a great vibe by giving the viewer an intimate look into the trip. Native Poughkeepsie resident, Sean Agoliati, hosted the Skeptic Media crew and showed them around to some amazing spots where the usual sick tricks went down. It’s nice to see some NYC locals get out and expand their terrain. The edit includes, Devin Lopez, Evan Grimball, Jesus Medina, Kevin Cintron, Sean Agoliati, and Gian Carlo Coppola. Filmed and edited by Navin Hardyal. Great Work Navin!

Deadly Drop-In Session by: Skeptic Media

June 26, 2009

Navin Hardyal and the Skeptic Media crew are always traveling around the New York area getting footage and providing us with some of the sickest edits we’ve seen. While filming on location at Drop-In Skatepark, home of Tri-State skateshop in Hillburn, NY one of the wheels of Navin’s car basically came off. “…we got on the highway, stopped for gas, and accidentally got on the north bound I-87 instead of South. The closest exit was 20 miles away so we had to wait to turn around. After a long 20 miles, Shallif goes to make a U-Turn and the passanger side wheel pops out during the U-Turn leaving us stranded somewhere 80 miles from New York City…” – Skeptic Media. To read more of the story check out the Skeptic Media site. Check the edit above to see some footage of Skeptic Media rider, Kevin Cintron, and some footage of the aftermath of the accident.

Summer Edit 2 By: Jeffrey Mateo

June 23, 2009

Jeffrey Mateo, aka The Boss Child, is killing the New York City media scene. Constantly creating quality edits with clean filming and steezy tech tricks, Jeff can’t be stopped. Jeff submits his second installment of the Summer series edits featuring Emmil, Malik Ashby, Jeffrey Mateo, Junior Sanchez, Quang, Kevin Cintron, Sasha, Dan, Eric, and Jaquone. Some great tricks were captured all over the Manhattan and Bronx area. “The boss child is back for the attack that will make you catch a heart attack as you watch these lovely clips you want play it over and over like rollover minutes…you fix it im bored your a horse this is the boss master” Jeffrey Mateo. Keep the quality edits coming! Song is Ja Rule – New York.

Oh and Malik, great job shutting up the haters
