As the Summer slowly comes to an end and the NYSS Summer 16 wraps up there’s one more competition to end the season. Boschi Pope presents: The Boschi Pope Skate Off and BBQ. With guest Judges Mike “Murda” Johnson, Billy “Fish” O’Neill and Boschi Pope. First place winner will get a $1,000 cash prize. No entrance fee! Official partners: New York Skate Series and Butter TV.

Time: 11:00 AM
Location: Hamilton Bridge Skatepark (181st Street and Highbridge Park)

Follow I Roll NY and ODNY on Twitter for live results. New York City will be host to one of the ten A Chosen-Few competitions going down this Summer taking place on June 4th. The theme of this comp is to pay homage to NYC’s competitions of the past. Meet at Battery Park at 1:00PM to register to enter. The competition starts at 2:00PM. The first spot will be the classic benches. The second spot, the infamous high ledge. The third and final spot will be the Staten Island stadium ledges and rails where some of the biggest and best tricks in NYC went down. First place is guaranteed $150.00 in prize money. Top five contestants will split prizes from Razors, Inline Warehouse, Be-Mag, and Aggressive Mall. Top ten contestants will get an official ranking on the World Rolling Series and A Chosen-Few system. First and second place automatically qualify for the ACF finals in Los Angeles on August 19th and 20th.

Time: Registration at 1:00PM. First round at 2:00PM
Fee: $10.00 to enter
Location: Battery Park
Directions: Take the 1 or R train to Whitehall Street. You may also take the 4 or 5 train to Bowling Green.

Date: October 24th, 2010
Time: 12:00PM Registration starts.
1:30PM Registration ends.
2:00PM Competition starts.
Fee: $10 to enter.
Format: Series of 1 on 1 battles.
5 tricks per battle on any obstacle chosen in the park.
Winners of each battle face each other until there is one
winner left at the end of the day.
Prizes: First/Second/Third split the total amount of the
entrance money.
Fourth and fifth get their $10 back.
Location: Pier 62 Skatepark (22nd street and 12th ave.)
Train Directions: C or E train to 23rd street/8th ave.

Navin Hardyal of Skeptic Media releases this online edit, initially intended for his video NoWhere Close, of captured Brooklyn Banks footage over the past three years. Most of the footage is of Evotek Media’s Why So Serious Competition with a bunch of great angles and coverage of tricks done during the comp. Skaters include Rafael Herrera, Evan Grimball, Alex Nunez, James Perez, Jesus Medina, Trevor Johnson, Sean Agoliati, Will Sorto, Tim Frankin, John Bolino, Anthony Chen, and Brian Shima. “Ive been sitting on this edit for about two months now.
