Revoked New York Movie

July 26, 2010

Here’s a post that I’m sure some might find controversial but try to keep an open mind. Revoked is a track bike video featuring a section in New York showcasing skating from Jeph Howard, Michael Garlinghouse, Billy O’Neill, Chris Farmer and Franco Cammayo while the Too Much Love crew was here on tour. As well as Revoked featuring some well known bladers, Two (or more) of the bikers in here, also rollerblade. Hope you can enjoy a different sport showing some love to ours. Blading starts around the ten minute mark. “We went to New York for 2 weeks during the 2010 Bicycle Film Festival. Fonseca was filming for Revoked 2 but more partying went on then riding, so he decided to use the footage for and online edit” – Chris Fonseca.

February 9, 2010

“Ok, so here’s the official press release to address all of the rumors about the Create Originals pro team. When the three of us started Create, we had a vision for how we wanted to portray the company, team and image. Our goal is to provide the best for the skate community in all aspects, not only with our product but with our team image and riders as well. Basically, we wanted to offer more than a new product, we wanted to give the skate community something to be excited about and proud of. That being said, we at Create Originals are very proud to announce our TWO newest pro riders, Chris Farmer and Alex Broskow. We’re excited to have them on board and you can expect to see a lot of cool things coming from Create Originals in 2010. Welcome to the team fellas -Billy O’Neill.”

Too Much Love 2: The Breakdown Trailer

October 21, 2009

The Too Much Love crew spent some time in our city in September filming for the second installment now titled “The Breakdown.” Though only one NYC clip is shown in the trailer, Bolino’s switch 360 to 360 at the Manhattan court house, it looks as if TML2 will be the big video to look out for this year. I think it’s safe to say that Farmer can do anything imaginable on skates and the rest of the crew provide stylish and technical tricks along with Jeph Howard’s hammers. “The official trailer for the upcoming DVD release starring John Bolino, Brett Dasovic, Jeph Howard, Michael Garlinghouse and Chris Farmer. A full season of skating throughout the state of Minnesota as well as a tour of both the midwest AND east coast. Combining both trick selection and a desire to skate and create new spots TML2 shows what skaters are capable of when they combine an eye for good terrain with above par skating” – Brett Dasovic

50/50 Juice Full Online Video

October 11, 2009

Juice was 50/50’s video release in early 2000. There was a bit of gossip about the video and it’s length because at the time, and still today, videos would range from 30-60 minutes in length but Juice was only 15 minutes in length and for good reason. 50/50 specifically made the length of their video shorter in comparison to others to do exactly what the title says, get yourself juiced. The purpose of the video was to have something to watch quickly before you go skating to get you…well…juiced to go skate. With names like Chris Farmer, Jon Julio, Randy Spizer, Rachard Johnson and of course New York City’s Dustin Hallerin, the video did the job well and now it’s available online for your viewing pleasure.
