Boschi Pope recently made the trip to Cali, to link up with FILTHJUICE crew and film for an upcoming VOD section. See all the photos and read the story on the FILTHJUICE site. “New York City legend Boschi Pope blessed the Filthjuice crew with his recent trip to California. This Filth-File was a last minute thing but I had a feeling Boschi was coming out here to handle business, not only for his new startup company Boschi Pope Company (BPC), but to also handle his business on the blades like old times. I personally had never met Boschi until his recent visit, but my memories of him go far back to the early 2000’s when he was the youngest pro out of NYC. His skating and personality embodies the East Coast street skating scene and he’s back from his hiatus to keep the NYC scene strong!” – FILTHJUICE.

“Boschi Pope ended the eventful summer of 2016 with this grand finale of a competition taken place at Hamilton Bridge Skatepark in NYC with guest judges Mike Johnson, Billy O’Neill, and himself. The turnout was amazing with friends and family coming from all over the map to reunite and enjoy not only the skating that took place but also eachother’s company to reminisce and catch up. The vibe was all about good times and nothing but positivity. Also, with the amount of footage, expect a BPSO 2.0 edit in the works somewhere in the near future.” – Boschi Pope.

What Just Happened?

February 3, 2009

A few days ago we reported about a shocking story that not only stunned the rollerblading world in general but shocked the New York rolling scene specifically. Unfortunately I discovered today that the posting “mysteriously” got deleted so here’s a copy of the original we made on January 31, 2009. The cause of the deletion of our post is unknown and unsettling and we hope this does not happen in the future.

The Daily News reported today about a drug sting arrest in Harlem, NYC involving a gang referred to as the “Stack Money Family” who’s leader happens to be Boschi “Bloody” Pope. Known to be one of the most influential rollerbladers in the New York City scene and considered to be a NYC legend it was almost common knowledge that Boschi was currently in jail. He was always missed by the people that watched his skating and is always brought up when someone asks, “Who are the top NYC skaters?” It was sad news to hear that one of the biggest talents in rollerblading was locked up but now this news today adds to the grief. The Daily News writes, “The gang’s leader Boschi (Bloodie) Pope, 22, has allegedly run the gang from Rikers Island, where authorities taped his incriminating conversations. The secretly recorded tapes made at Rikers, allegedly capture Pope instructing his girlfriend, Tiffany DuBois, 21, on how to resupply the gang’s crack stash, prosecutors said. ” You can read the rest of the Daily News story here and voice your opinions in our comments section.
