Come on out to the first street competition of the year. With fourteen sponsors, there’s sure to be a ton of prizes. Photographer Ryan Loewy will be in attendance giving out posters for the event and taking photos for his New York Rollers series.

The new Aggressive Mall catalog has been put online today for all to see. The catalog features every new product out this year from every blading company and clothing company. Aggressive Mall has also featured an interview with NYC’s own Austin Paz. The interview discusses how amazing our scene is (as usual) and gives some details on The Truth 2 if you haven’t seen it already. Looks like Aggresive Mall will be issuing out another holiday catalog this year with more of a magazine/interview feel than last year. Austin Paz makes the cover this year with a Tru Top Soul up the infamous Brooklyn Banks. Austin is also interviewed in the catalog along with Brandon Smith. In the month of February, I got in touch with Deshi Pro, Vinny Minton, who was spending some time in New York City. Unfortunately, due to scheduling issues and bad timing I didn’t have a chance to meet up with him or skate with the Aggressive Mall rider. Vinny, being the great guy he truly is was nice enough to stay in contact with me and blessed us here at I Roll NY with an online interview a week after his stay. This was not your typical interview, Vinny is such a chill guy that the interview we did simply ended up reading as a conversation amongst friends. We got to talk about his stay in New York City, his past experience with Salomon, an inside look in the Bay/Cali scene, upcoming projects Vinny is working on and his video production company he owns with Ivan Narez.
