This week’s C.O.W. was filmed yesterday at the Brandon Gutierrez memorial session held at the Maloof skate plaza in Queens, NY. Clip of the Week #39 features Alex Nunez who was a close friend to Brandon and landed these two big tricks in his honor. The second trick was actually Alex’s first attempt at it.

Soooo sick! We need rollerblading to blow up so NY can get its own boot company and sponsor its own skaters! There are a lot of dudes there who deserve more than they have, and yet Valo has 4 pros from Norcal (yes I count Ivan because he’s in all the pics anyway). It just all seems so lopsided, and rollerblading is blowing up more on the East Coast than the West Coast anyway. Maybe CO could do it once they get going more. I’ve got a lot of faith in Billy! ok, peace, and keep rolling! that was sick Alex! in front of skateboarders too! I’m lovin it!

Alex should have definately been pro years ago, also Sam Grimm back in the day should have been given that title, they were murderin’ people who stepped up to them, John Bowne – Sam murdered Kelso…No comment..Alex did f/540 top soul first try….No Comment. Fish was given the thrones by USD by what happened to Alex and Sam who were killing shit before people were even thinking of 360’in a rail…I know this was before the time of all the young bucks but all of you should know some history.
