Photographer Ryan Loewy sends in a late entry of his photos from The Truth 2 premiere in NYC. Ryan not only caught a few flicks from the premiere but also wrote a great summary wrapping up the premiere. “When I had heard that Austin Paz and the Kelso Brothers were holding the World Premiere for The Truth II in New York, there was no doubt that I was attending. Two days before the premiere, I headed up to Boston to pick up my good friend and fellow blader, Michael Marston, for the winter break” – Ryan Loewy. Brooklyn, NY’s Josh Diaz, owner of Psyko Clothing, took a spontaneous flight out to Puerto Rico one day and captured some great photos documenting his stay resulting in ONE Magazine’s newest photo journal entry. “I had to be at the airport by 10 pm that night, so after a few hours I called a friend to see if he wanted to get few blade shots in, and this is the shot I felt most fit this random trip to PR. Here you have it, a switch Sweatstance on a ledge in Fajardo” – Josh Diaz. See more photos and read all of Josh’s photo journal on the ONE website.

Photos and story by: Drew Humphrey. “It was a cool autumn day in November, just right for a skate in the park. I called my friend Omar up and we headed over to McCarren skatepark. We were going to meet up with Ian Copp from Tampa, Florida. When we got there the park was flooded with skateboarders and a solo skater. We introduced ourselves and skated around for few. after a while my feet were hurting from my new liners so i though i would set up and take a few pics. I saw Ian try sweat stance on the bank ledge and asked if he would like to try again and lace it for a photo. He thought it would be cool. After a few tries he locked on and landed the sweat stance. Then he went and got a sweet front unity” – Drew Humphrey.

ONE Magazine has featured I Roll NY on their weekly wrap up known as web roll this week on their site. Citizen Krans spotted the CUNY blader post and made his own humorous assumptions on the featured skater on the CUNY site. “How many college students see spots on their campus between classes and drool like a fat kid over a Twinkie, but know that the future cops looking for anything to use their Tazers on, otherwise known as campus security (the lowest of all in the law enforcement hierarchy) are looming everywhere. Well, at the City University of New York enrollment must really be down because they are inviting you to come skate their campus” – ONE Magazine. Read the rest of the article and the entire web roll on the ONE Magazine website.
