The Art of Rolling have premiered their new blog yesterday and they already have two great updates. First, featured above, is a photo of an NYPD officer testing out the AOR finger skates at the Brooklyn Banks. Their second update is of a sneak peak photo from issue 6 of Trevor Johnson which you can see at the Art of Rolling blog. Stay tuned for more updates from the blog. “We are overwhelmed with projects and content constantly, we currently have a magazine and carry a full line of finger skates on top of all those adventures we come across photos of our talented SKATERS…” – AOR.

ONE Magazine posted up a Blade Life interview with NJ skater Erik Stokely. The interview is a good read but what stood out to me was the photo at the Chinatown up ledge in Manhattan, NY. Photographer John O’Donnell captures Erik Stokely doing a truspin mistrial 360 out at the perfect moment. See more photos and the interview at ONE’s Blade Life page.

Rober Monegro has been in the game for 13 years on and off and at 28 years-old is still rolling while most others his age would’ve quit and died out. At an older age than most, Robert isn’t playing it safe either. He pulls off switch ups, misty flips and back flips like any new comer and has a classic NYC style when skating. Skate parks include Hackenstown, Hoboken and Mullaly skate park in the Bronx NY.

Billy O’Neill USD Pro UFS Throne Skate Promo
November 28, 2009

Just in time for the holiday season, Create Originals releases their online edit for Billy O’Neil’s second pro USD skate. Fish also provided some information on his skate “I chose a white skate because white skates look good and clean and the UFS Thrones skates are the best for me. The new heel plate gives the skates a bit less weight but the main thing for me is the much slimmer look. The frames are Create Originals and its the first time our frame is being featured on a pro skate. The “I fish NY” logo is a tribute to the city I grew up in. We tried to get Street Artist wheels on them, but due to problems with the wheel manufacturer, we were unable to do so this time around because they couldn’t arrive in time. All in all, its a top notch skate that slides perfect on everything and skates tough. Buy em!” – Billy O’Neill
