This August, the 13th fell on a Friday. Not letting any urban legends or superstitions scare us away a few local bladers went out to skate the city. We traveled from the Lower East Side all the way to 42nd street where the night got crazy to say the least. Here is the footage from the Lower East Side featuring Chris Santiago, Jose Henriquez, Malik Ashby, and Billy Gonzalez.

Well the rain ruined yesterday’s session but tomorrow, August 17th, at 12:00PM the local Lower East Side skaters are inviting everyone out again to skate their neighborhood box and ledges. The box is lit up throughout the night so no need to worry when the night falls. The box is located on 12th street and avenue D in the basketball courts located in the middle of the building complexes. Take the L train to 14th street and 1st avenue and walk to the spot.
