January 26, 2009A big thanks to Victor Callender for holding and coordinating such a great event for all of New York’s rollers. Evotek Media Group’s, Christen “Kixx” Cofer, sends us some pictures from Saturday’s trip along with a breakdown of the trip. “…franco was the last to show up before we left at 1:30. On the way there we go lost due to bad directions. Took maybe 2 and 1/2 hours to get there. John Stephens was there with Evan G. before we got there followed shortly by Ramelle Knight, Hector Rodriguez, and Jason Swaby. Names that come to mind as far as who was there…John Stephens, Ramelle Knight, Will Sorto, Hector Rodriguez, Trevor Johnson, Courtney Brown, Alex Nunez, Franco Cammayo, Mikey Cancel, Hyper Mike, Ralphy Hererra.” – Kixx

Academy Bus Trip Update

Participants under the age of 18 must have their parent or legal guardian sign the release form attached below, or the child will not be able to participate. The form must be notarized if the parent or guardian will not be accompanying the child when this form is submitted. If you are 18 or older, we must see proof of age. Wheels In Motion Bus Trip to Academy Skatepark is this Saturday January 24th!

Victor Callender and WheelsInMotionNYC have put together a bus trip for all New York rollers to head over to Academy Skatepark for a group session. Info on the flyer above and on their website WheelsInMotionNYC. Respond as soon as possible. There are three days to meet up with Victor to give him the money, today being the first.
Wednesday January 21st: Manhattan, on 59th street Columbus Circle 4pm-5pm
Thursday January 22nd: Brooklyn, Atlantic Ave in front of the P.C Richards 5pm-6pm
Friday January 23rd: Bronx, 167th street Mullaly Skate Park 5pm-6pm.
Saturday January 24th the day of the bus trip meet at 42nd street between 5th & 6th ave. The D train stops the closest the # 4, 5,6,7, 1,2,3 and the A train is the furthest away.
