I Roll NY reached out to the SHOCK crew and got a copy of their newly released video to premiere at tomorrow night’s OG party at Billy Hurricane’s! As the day began Tim Franken, Crazy Pat Bernat and I embarked on a journey throughout the hood’s of Newark, NJ to the slums of the South Bronx, NY. When We finally arrived at the premiere it was such a sight to see, over 150 people at the first screening and more to come. Mr. Victor Callender also gave a speech regarding our Fitted DVD donation and Art of Rolling Magazine donation. It was a great time at the premiere, one to remember” – Joe Perez. Ray Mendez, Sam Williams, Victor Callender, Wheels in Motion, and Skate Life Pro-motion present the Roll and Rage New Years eve party Friday, December 31st. There is a $20 entrance fee that will include an open bar from 8PM-9PM, 20 foot grind boxes and prails, MC battle, BBoy battle, giveaways and more. There will also be a best trick contest through out the night where the winner will receive $100. It’s all taking place at the St. Cecelia’s Gym in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Art of Rolling is celebrating their first print issue release this Sunday in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The event starts at 4:00PM and will include music by DJ Charm, a performance by Ramelle “Fetty” Knight, A gallery of AOR’s past featured photos, as well as copies of the newest Art of Rolling issue on sale. It all takes place at Fratelli’s Brick Pizza where you can chow down on $1.00 slices until the event ends. More info on the flyer up top and below.

The three year anniversary of I Roll NY is fast approaching and this year there will be a party celebrating the occasion with prizes, giveaways, and a DVD premiere all taking place at the blader owned bar Billy Hurricane’s. “Saturday, November 27th, 2010 was the night of the highly anticipated fourth installment to the WAV (We Are Valo) series. This would take place at the Helen Mills Theater located on west 26th street in Manhattan. NYC was ready for what the internet buzz called “One of the greatest skate movies to date.” The event which generated a lot of talk via Facebook was organized by Victor Callender, who organizes such events as Last Man Standing, Battle My Crew, and the Let’s Roll NY sessions. As I walked into the theater, the first object I noticed was the Valo4life billboard which was positioned at the foot of the steps” – Shardy Nieves.
