“We all know the obstacles of getting grip at Oil City, but we all still LACE some badass tricks! So on March 9th, 2013,we will see who is the SLICKEST BLADER in NY! The competition is open to anyone for the entrance fee of $25. If you dont want to compete and blade that night from 7- close its $15 and if your a friend coming to hang its $5 DONATION going towards Best tricks. The NYC Street Invitational is going down this Saturday, September 22nd, at the newly built Coleman skate park. There will be new obstacles added to the skate park the day of the competition. Coleman skate park is located at 62 Pike Street New York, NY 10002. Directions via google maps.
On Saturday August 4th, 2012 we had a box jam in the Lower East Side area of Manhattan. A lot of kids came out to show their support and hang out with old and new friends. I picked up on a very relaxed vibe as soon as I got there and knew that this comp/jam would be different than any other in NYC so I decided to film it differently than the others. I decided to film the day’s events in a more documentary style. Shooting a lot of b-roll and doing small interviews with people in attendance. Check out all the tricks that went down at 2012 L.E.S.
